
Butterfly Pasta recipe from Turkish dishes, recipes..fresh, cheap, healty recipes..
Ingredients(for 4 servings):
Farfalle - 500 gr
Olive oil - 4 tbs
Garlic - 2 cloves
Tomato - 4 pcs
Fresh basil - 2 branches
Salt and Pepper
Preparation:
Firstly boil 4 liters of water in a large pot. then add a tablespoon of salt.
secondly put all pasta in the boiling water and cook until soft (approximately 10 minutes). Drain. While pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a skillet. Peel garlic cloves, finely chop them and stir-fry for a minute. Add peeled and cubed tomatoes and continue stir-frying for 3 more minutes. Finely chop basil leaves and add to sauce. Add salt and pepper and cook for another 5 minutes.
Pour the basil sauce over the drained pasta. Please serve hot.
